Another Award for Video Bump

We are excited to announce that Video Bump has been bestowed with the prestigious title of Ultimate Videographer by Elite Magazine. Our sincere gratitude goes out to the incredible residents of Santa Clarita for their votes and unwavering support. This recognition is a testament to our commitment to producing impactful marketing videos that breathe life into local businesses and organizations. We appreciate the honor and look forward to continuing our dedication to excellence in video production.

Who You Know Matters

Elite Elevate hosted their flagship event, “Who You Know Matters,” on May 2, 2023. The event was a hub of inspiration and knowledge exchange, and Video Bump was there to capture the essence of the occasion. With our skilled team and state-of-the-art equipment, we recorded five captivating mini podcast episodes hosted by the charismatic Henry Rodriguez from State Farm Insurance. These episodes featured a star-studded lineup of industry experts, including Zach McReynolds, Alex Hollander IV, Miguel Soler, Jarrid McKenna, and Bri King. The engaging discussions touched upon various topics, providing valuable insights and leaving the audience craving for more. Video Bump’s contribution at the event showcased Elite’s commitment to delivering top-notch content from industry experts and solidified Video Bump’s position as a leader in the media production industry.

Empowering HeArts

Video Bump once again lent their expertise to Single Mothers Outreach’s flagship event, Empowering HeArts Gala, marking our third consecutive year of collaboration. Held in Santa Clarita on February 10, 2023, this event holds great significance as it serves as a cornerstone for Single Mothers Outreach’s fundraising efforts. The brainchild of a conversation between the Executive Director and a Photographer in 2009, the gala became a platform where the stories of empowered women could be celebrated through word and art, garnering high visibility. The funds raised at this remarkable occasion play a vital role in supporting single-parent families by providing them with essential resources and services, ranging from food and clothing to therapy, money management classes, emergency housing, and more. Video Bump took charge of producing all the video content showcased throughout the event, delivering exceptional visual narratives. Additionally, we created a compelling video that could be shared by the artists, honorees, and performers with their loved ones, thereby extending the impact of the gala beyond its immediate audience. Through our outstanding contributions, Video Bump exemplified their dedication to supporting charitable endeavors and amplifying the voices of empowered women.

Holiday Home Tour

We are incredibly proud to share our continued involvement in producing Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital’s Holiday Home Tour videos for the third consecutive year. This year’s theme, “Light Up the Season,” perfectly captures the essence of this cherished Santa Clarita tradition that has delighted our community for over four decades. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, we are thrilled to offer virtual tours of three exquisitely decorated homes, each showcasing the creative genius of talented interior designers and homeowners. Filming these homes was a true delight, as we captured the dazzling sparkle and intricate details of their holiday dĂ©cor. However, the magic of this event extends beyond the visual splendor. The Holiday Home Tour, including the Virtual Tour, Gala, and Holiday Boutique, serves as a crucial fundraiser for Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital’s Center for Women and Newborns. This year’s homeowners have graciously opened their doors to showcase their uniquely styled homes. The Taban Family’s Sand Canyon residence, sponsored by Williams Homes, will glow with the theme “Let it Glow! Let it Glow! Let it GLOW!” The Ezzati Family’s Peachland Estates home, sponsored by Holly Hanlin of Berkshire Hathaway, will dazzle with the theme “Glitz and Glamour… Oh so Fun!” Lastly, the Baker Family’s magnificent Westridge home, sponsored by Pam Ingram of Compass Realty, will immerse visitors in the theme “Buon Natale!” – a joyful celebration of Christmas in Italian. We invite you to join us on this virtual journey, experiencing the magic and warmth of these homes while contributing to the vital work of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital.

Video Bump collaborated once again with JCI Santa Clarita on their upcoming training event, “What’s Your Why?” We had the privilege of producing a series of captivating commercials for this highly anticipated event, facilitated by the esteemed Michelle Lambarena from Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. Our promotional video prominently featured Brittany Barlog, a personable skincare consultant from Mary Kay Cosmetics, who passionately encouraged young professionals in Santa Clarita to delve into their motivations. Through our visually engaging video, we aimed to ignite a sense of curiosity and self-reflection, inspiring individuals to explore their unique purpose and drive. We are proud to have partnered with JCI Santa Clarita to create a compelling promotional campaign that captures the essence of this transformative training event. We invite all young professionals in Santa Clarita to join us in discovering their “why” and embark on a journey of personal and professional growth.

This remarkable event, held each year, has a profound impact on the hospital and the community it serves. By raising hundreds of thousands of dollars, the tournament plays a crucial role in supporting the Kim and Steven Ullman Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), ensuring that the hospital can continue providing exceptional care to newborns and their families. Love in the Time of COVID

We’re so thrilled to have provided the video production services for D’Wilfri DanceArt and Entertainment’s virtual event, “Love in the Time of COVID.” Traditionally, D’Wilfri would host a dance show and class around Valentine’s Day each year. However, with the pandemic disrupting in-person gatherings, Willy Arroyo and Ingrid Blanco, the visionary cofounders of D’Wilfri, made the proactive decision to transition to a virtual format. To bring their artistic vision to life, they entrusted Video Bump with the task of producing their event, and we were honored to take on the challenge. Our team captured breathtaking videos featuring captivating dances, including ballet, waltzes, and tangos. The shooting locations were carefully selected around Westfield’s Valencia Town Center in Santa Clarita, with one particularly fiery dance number filmed inside the vibrant Slater’s 50/50. The result was a collection of visually stunning and emotionally evocative performances. We were delighted to see hundreds of viewers tuning in to watch the event, embracing the opportunity to experience the magic of dance and partake in the online dance classes. It was a pleasure for Video Bump to be a part of D’Wilfri’s virtual event, contributing to the preservation of artistry and community engagement during these challenging times.

Adapting and Overcoming with Koren Young
by Tyra Ghamghamy | Jan 26, 2021 | Closeup

In a world as swiftly changing as ours, nothing is more important than learning to adapt and overcome, especially when we’ve had a year as tumultuous as 2020. As he can tell you himself, Koren Young is just one of the countless Santa Clarita residents who has had to learn to navigate the unfamiliar intersection of technology, adaptation, and forward thinking.

In the years since he picked up his first camera, Koren has made a name for himself in the world of video production — but he’s also worked hard to give back to the community that fostered this growth.

In addition to operating his own businesses that cater to the entertainment industry, he’s a professor at College of the Canyons, where he helps young filmmakers learn the basics of filmmaking and storytelling — right from the podcast studio in his home office.

He was also recently elected the Vice President of Marketing and Communications at JCI Santa Clarita, but his dedication doesn’t end there – throughout the last year alone, he’s partnered with many non-profits in the area, including Single Mothers Outreach, Circle of Hope, Zonta, The Valley Industry Association, Child and Family Center, and The Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation.

He also produced the entirety of this year’s JCI 40 Under Forty Top 100, at which he was also awarded as one of the year’s honorees. Because of this he and his business have also become a finalist in the Rising Star Award category from the Chamber’s awards and installation.

Philanthropy and service go hand in hand with Koren’s passion for videography. Throughout the course of the pandemic, he’s had to continuously adapt his business practices to better serve the changing needs of the Santa Clarita community.

Endless all-nighters, meetings, and hours of editing are all worth it, though, when it comes down to the final result: a livestream, video, or interactive presentation that does its part in boosting whichever non-profit he’s dedicating his time to that month.
“It got challenging and overwhelming as we got closer to our deadlines,” he admits. “But the feedback we received made it all worth it in the end.”

In addition to his work with JCI and other local non-profit organizations, Koren is also the President of the Valencia Viking Alumni Association, a testament to his fondness of his own time in high school.

“Valencia High School was a big part of my life. It’s where I really got involved in video production,” he shares. Koren was one of the early pioneers of live television news production in the Hart District.

This translated into one of his more recent collaborations with another high school in the area, Golden Valley, where he produced videos for their first ever virtual Back to School Night.
In the end, it’s all about giving back to the community in ways that are meaningful and impactful to as many people as possible.

“There are a ton of non-profit organizations that serve every facet of our community,” Koren says. “If you’re passionate about helping people, there is an organization out there that needs your help.”

When he’s not out in the community, you can find him hard at work at Arcay Studios, where he provides post-production services to independent filmmakers and film distributors alike.Needless to say, Koren has planted roots right here in his hometown, and he’s ready to see where his passion and the community’s needs will take him.
